In his address, Governor Nyesom Wike represented by his Deputy Dr. Ipalibo Harry Banigo described education as a strong pillar for national development and urged parents to continue to invest in their children through education in order to ensure a brighter future for them irrespective of financial status.

Education is a strong pillar for national development and a key to future success. Parents should be prepared to make sacrifices for the education of their children in order to ensure that they get a better start in life. As you prepare for your son or daughter’s graduation, I encourage all parents to continue investing in their children’s education even if it means making sacrifices now so that they can benefit later on.

Education should not only be viewed as an opportunity but also as an obligation towards society at large because without it we cannot hope to compete with other industries such as oil production which is thriving today due its demand from various parts around Africa such as Nigeria where most oil refineries are located near these areas within Lagos State capital Port Harcourt City itself being one example; thus providing jobs opportunities for young people who graduate from Uphc courses.”

Parents must invest more than money into their children’s education

When parents are involved in their children’s education from an early age, it is more likely that they will be successful. Parents must be involved in their children’s education from an early age so that they can take advantage of all the opportunities available to them.
