- According to him, firstly, there will be a firm resolve to balance our national budget through effective cost management and spending within our means as a people.
- Secondly, we must continue improving our infrastructure by investing in education and health services. We will also ensure that nobody is left behind as we work towards achieving an equitable society where every citizen has access to basic needs like food security and water supply.
- Thirdly, we need not only work hard at improving the lives of Nigerians but also make sure that those who have been left behind receive adequate attention from the government so they can improve their lives too.
Secondly, there will be a total restructuring of our economy through refocusing our policies and programmes around agricultural transformation and industrialisation. Our intention is to create an environment where farmers are given the freedom to produce what they want, when they want it; where smallholder farmers can make more money from their crops; and where large scale commercial farms are able to access finance at affordable rates.
Thirdly, we will ensure that all Nigerians have access to quality education regardless of their economic status or location in Nigeria. This includes free primary education for children aged 0-11 years old with no school fees charged on top of this (up to 6 years). We also plan on providing universal secondary education for all students up until senior high school not just those who qualify as boarders but also day scholars who live near the secondary schools they attend so that they don’t have far away travel costs while receiving their education there.”
Thirdly and most importantly, there will be an active promotion of our local businesses by deliberately transforming them into globally competitive firms that can compete not only within Nigeria but outside too.
Conclusion
As we begin our journey to 2023, it is vital that we all work together as one nation. This will be the year when Nigeria will begin to emerge from its present economic situation and rebuild our country through policies that promote growth and development
