Port Harcourt News: Diobu Vigilante Recovers Sensitve Power Machine Controlling The New Ikuku Flyover From Hoodlums

Last night at exactly 1 AM, some unrecognize thieves who were trying to steal a sensitive machine that powers the light at the Newly constructed Ikuku flyover were chased by diobu vigilante. 

The Chairman of Diobu vigilante Mr Amatari Prince Bipilade confirmed this information to Inside Port Harcourt. Mr Bipilade in a report said, the thief’s who were chased by his men, almost succeeded in an attempt to steal the sensitive machine commissioned by the Rivers State Governor. 

The Ikuku flyover is among the 12 flyover commissioned by Governor Wike, and Labour Party Presidential Candidate Peter Obi, who was invited as a special guest of honor. The flyover is closely located between mile 3 market and mile 1 flyover. The newly commissioned ikuku flyover links between Olu Obasanjo road and Diobu by Azikiwe road 

Mr Bipilade confirmed to Inside Port Harcourt, that when the thief’s noticed that his men were coming after them, they dropped the equipments and ran for safety. “My men chased them but upon our arrival, they all ran away. 

As you may know, vigilante are local security unarmed men, recruited by the state government as neighborhood watchdog. 

The Diobu Vigilante Chairman Mr Bipilade further called on the Rivers State Government to provide his men with security uniforms, which will help them appear as neighborhood security guards to the public.
