The group under the leadership of Ambassador GodGift, said Illioabuchi Road is going to have a new look after completion and give diobu a new face.

Ambassador GodGift in a statement, said diobu was seen as the dirtiest and rough environment, this has caused a lot of business owners move away from the area, causing a high numbers of unemployed people.

As you may know, the Illioabuchi road links along the Ikuku flyover. The Governor during a visit in the ongoing project inspection, extended the Illioabuchi Road, and called on the construction company handling the project to dualize and further extend the road construction.

During the tenure of Rotimie Ameachi, the former Governor of Rivers State, awarded the Dualization of Illioabuchi Road, but his government failed to carry out the project, before they left office.

When Governor Wike made the announcement last year July, for the dualization of Illioabuchi Road, the residents of the area, thought it was same old promise that wasn’t going to be fulfilled.

The recent development of the project, has raised a lot of applause from different people. One of the groups that has come out to publicly applauded wike is the collation initiative for growth and development lead by Ambassador GodGift.

The Dualization links UST back gate, Abel Jumbo street, Ihediohanma street, Obidanso street, Nwachukwu Street, Anozie Street, Echue Street, & Timber Street.

Our search team, visited this locations, and confirmed that, the above mentioned roads are all closed and will be open when the projects are full completed and commissioned.

We would keep updated when the roads are opened for road users.
