GOV FUBARA INTERVENES AT PORT HARCOURT AIRPORT, DONATES FIRE FIGHTING EQUIPMENT TO FAAN – Inside Port Harcourt
As part of the Rivers State Government’s intervention at the Port Harcourt International Airport H.E Siminalayi Fubara today donated fire fighting equipment to the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN).
The Governor made the donation on Monday at the state Government house.
To ensure the safety of passangers, the Rivers State Government had also repaired the runway lights at the Airport.
Prior to this intervention, Lufstansa Airlines had stopped International flights to the Airport and Rivers bound international passengers were forced to take connecting flights from other states.
With this effort of the State Government International Airlines that withheld direct flights from the Port Harcourt Airport are expected to resume direct flights.
