Rivers APC Dissolves Executive, Appoints Caretaker Committee

The All Progressives Congress (APC) has dissolved the executive committee of the party in Rivers State and has appointed a caretaker committee to oversee the affairs of the party in the state.
The decision to dissolve the party executives was taken after a meeting of the National Executive Committee of the APC. The party cited several reasons for the dissolution, including the failure of the state executive to work towards the success of the party in the state.
Members of the committee include
1. Chief Tony C. Okocha – Chairman
2. Chief Eric Nwibani – Secretary
3. Hon. Chibuike Ikenga
4. Prince Stephen Abolo
5. Hon. Silvester Vidin
6. Senibo Karibi Dan-Jumbo
7. Miss Darling Amadi
The caretaker committee is expected to work towards repositioning the party in Rivers State and ensure that the party is well-placed to win future elections in the state. The APC has also called on all members of the party in the state to support the caretaker committee and work towards the success of the party.
