Trump Wins Iowa Caucuses, Gives Victory Speech, Says It is Time For Country To Come Together
Former President Donald Trump has won the Iowa Caucuses on Monday night in his first test at securing the party’s nomination in 2024. Trump secured a total vote of 55,320 votes, while the second runner up Ron DeSantis secured a total vote of 23,007.
During his victory speech on Monday night, Trump his disproven claims that election fraud cost him victory in the 2020 presidential elections and vowed that, if elected in 2024, he would enact sweeping charges to how votes are cast and counted.
Speaking to his supporters; Trump says “I really think this is time now for everybody, our country, to come together, whether it’s Republican or Democrat or Liberal or Conservative, it would be nice if we come together and strengthen out the world and strengthen out all of the problems and the death and destruction that we’re witnessing that’s practically never been like this, “Trump said.
Trump went further to congratulate his rivals Nikki Haley and Ron DeSantis.
