Vice President Shettima loses step mother
Vice President Kashim Shettima, in the early hours of Thursday, lost his step mother, Hajja Hauwa Abba Kormi.
Hajja Kormi who died after a prolonged illness at the age of 69, left behind five children, many step children and grandchildren.
A statement issued by the Senior Special Assistant to the President on Media and communication, Office of the Vice President, stated that the Janaiza was scheduled for 4:00 pm Thursday, at Shettimari, Lawan Bukar, Maiduguri, Borno State.
The statement prayed for the Almighty Allah to forgive the deceased her shortcomings and admit her to Jannatul Firdaus.
