The price of bread to increase in Rivers State
The prices of bread will today increase in Rivers State, following the high price of baking materials.
The Chairman of Master Bakers in Rivers State, Chidi Orlu, tells our correspondent that the fifteen percent increase follows the hike in the price of materials for bread production.
He said without a price review, Rivers people may not see bread to eat, as bakers may be out of business. Dr Orlu also advised bread consumers to buy from bakeries to save costs.
