South Africa Beat DR Congo on Penalties, Emerges Bronze Winner at AFCON2023
South Africa are the bronze winners in the AFCON 2023 after beating DR Congo on penalties 6-5. The both teams played a 90 minutes goalless draw and went straight for a penalty shootout.
Almost 22,000 people were at Stade Félix Houphouët Boigny for third place play-off between Bafana Bafana and DR Congo.
The first penalty was taken by Teboho Mokoena and he missed it. Recall that Mokoena missed a penalty kick against the Super Eagles.
