Host nation Ivory Coast has won the 2023AFCON tournament after winning the Super Eagles 2-1. Ivory Coast came from behind to beat the Eagles. Goals from Franck Kessié and Sébastien Haller made the difference for the host nation to win the tournament.
The Super Eagles took the lead 38 minutes into the game, thanks to William Troost-Ekong who broke the deadlock.
The Ivorian bounced back, thanks to Franck Kessié who leveled the game for the host nation.
