Iwobi deletes his instagram pictures amid retirement from Super Eagles
Nigerian Super Eagles player Alex Iwobi is planning on his retirement from the Super Eagles squad. This followed by criticism from Nigerians who thinks that the star player Iwobi has lost his creativity in football.
Recall that the Super Eagles lost to host nation Ivory Coast at the AFCON2023 final. Moment after the end of the match, Nigerians took to their X account to criticize Iwobi, saying he is not fit anymore for the Super Eagles squad.
So far it’s unclear why the Nigeria player deleted all of his pictures on instagram. Some Nigerians thinks that he deleted it because it is time for him to retire from the Eagles squad.
