Bakers, Caterers To Begin Strike Over Increase in Prices of Baking Materials
The Association of Master Bakers and Caterers of Nigeria says it would withdraw its service nationwide from February 27, should the Federal government refuse to implement the agreement it entered into with the association in 2020.
A statement from the National President of AMBCON, Mansur Umar, read on his behalf by the Kogi State Chairman of the association, Gabriel Adeniyi, said the decision to withdraw its services was due to the increase in the prices of baking materials occasioned by subsidy removal and forex deregulation.
