Rivers Police Command Confirm Killing of Operative in Eliozu
The Rivers State Police Command has confirmed the attack and killing of one of its operatives by hoodlums last night.
The Public Relations Officer of the Command, SP Grace Iringe-Koko, tells our correspondent that a police officer lost his life while conducting a stop and search at the Eliozu flyover in the Obio-Akpor Local Government Area.
SP Koko further said the police retaliated, resulting in the death of one of the hoodlums. She said an investigation into the matter is now underway.
