Fans Express Shock After Reports Claim Infidelity in Tom Brady, Gisele Bundchen’s Former Marriage
WhenTom Bradyand Gisele Bündchenannounced their divorcein October 2022, the rumor mill up until that point suggested that the Brazilian model had reached her breaking point with Brady comingout of retirementfrom the NFL. However, while that may very well have contributed to the downfall of the nearly 14-year-long union, new reports suggest infidelity on Bündchen’s part.
In the wake of the split, in November 2022, Bündchen was pictured with her jiu-jitsu instructor Joaquim Valente in Costa Rica, who she began training with a year prior. It wasn’t until June 2023 that the couple went official with their relationship, but sources close to Brady’s camp told the Daily Mail over the weekend that the future Hall of Famer has questioned the exact timeline.
“If she wants to have people think she has been dating Joaquim only since June, so be it,” the source claimed, “But they have been together longer and they aren’t taking it slow. Tom has accepted it.”
“Tom and Joaquim are not friends—but Joaquim is around his kids, so Tom has to find the good in him and does believe he is a good guy,” the source continued. “If Joaquim ever becomes a father figure to his kids, Tom will be able to adapt.”

Although the news broke several days earlier, by Wednesday it finally caught the attention of social media, as Brady began trending on X, formerly Twitter. Many of those who weighed in expressed shock and varying degrees of outrage that even a chiseled, six-foot-four athlete can fall apparent victim to infidelity. After all, if Brady can’t keep his marriage together, what hope does a regular sucker have?

In either case, it seems like Brady is moving on with his life. The 46-year-old has since beenrumored to have datedRussian model (and Bradley Cooper’s ex) Irina Shayk. Though, it’sunclear if they’re still an item.
