Train Operations Set to Resume From Port Harcourt to Aba

Train operations from Port Harcourt to Aba will begin before the end of March, two years after it was suspended. The Managing Director of Nigeria Railway Cooperation, Fidet Okhiria, made this known to newsmen in Port Harcourt shortly after test-running the reconstructed rail track from Port Harcourt to Aba and Port Harcourt Port.

Mr. Okhiria said train passengers should expect an increase in the fare from Port Harcourt to Aba. Our Correspondent reports that Mr. Okhiria however advised traders on railway tracks to leave before operations resume.
