The new Facebook highlights is a new feature initiated by Mark Zuckerberg. The feature can only be accessed through the Facebook messenger app and you can download the app on your App Store.

Recall that Facebook users were forced to logout, with a session expired showing on their screen. A lot of the users were skeptical about the development, thinking that their Facebook account was hacked, but Mark Zuckerberg took to X account to calm the situation down, saying there experts are currently working on restoring service back to its users.

However Facebook highlights is a new feature updated after the shot down. 

Facebook highlights allows you to view users post and allows you to send them a direct message from the post.
