International Women’s Day 2024 Theme, Invest in Women: Accelerate Progress 

The international women’s day is celebrated every 8th of March. The day is dedicated to women all around the world to celebrate their contributions, impact and dedication to motherhood. The first International Women’s Day was first celebrated more than 100 years ago in March 1911. It’s a day of collective global activism and celebration that belongs to all those committed to forging women’s equality.

This year International Women’s Day (IWD) 2024 theme is Invest in Women: Accelerate Progress. Empowering women and promoting gender equality in line with Sustainable Development Goal 5. Gender Equality is a key factor for accelerating sustainable development.
