Easter Break: Federal Government Declares Friday and Public Holidays For Easter Celebration

The federal government has declared Friday and Monday to mark the Easter Holiday on the 1st April 2024. Friday is Good Friday while Monday is Easter Monday.

The declaration was made by the Minister of interior, Olubunmi Tunji-OJo, on behalf of the federa government in a statement signed by the Permanent Secretary of the ministry, Aishetu Ndayako, on Wednesday. 

According to the minister, Easter promotes value of love, forgiveness and compassion which are essential for social cohesion and harmony.
