What You Need to Know About Nollywood Actress Aderoumu Adejumoke
Nollywood actress Aderounmu Adejumoke was born on March 26, 1984, in Abeokuta, Ogun State, Nigeria. She passed away on April 6, 2024, at the age of 40. Adejumoke was known for her roles in popular Nollywood productions, including “Jenifa’s Diary” as Esther and “La Femme Anjola” as Adanna.
Her career spanned over a decade, during which she appeared in more than 10 films in both English and Yoruba. Adejumoke was also recognized for her work, winning awards such as the Maya Africa awards 4.0 face of Nollywood and the Scream Awards New Face of Nollywood. She attended St. Banerdettes private schools in Ibara and Abeokuta, the Abeokuta Girls’ Grammar School, and Onikolobo Abeokuta for her education.
Adejumoke later graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in international relations from Obafemi Awolowo University in Ile Ife, Osun State. In addition to her acting career, she was certified in filmmaking and acting from La Cinefabrique multimédia in Lyon, France.
