Gunmen abduct Channels TV reporter, Joshua Rogers in Port Harcourt demand N30m ransom
It appears that Joshua Rogers, the Channels TV reporter in Rivers State, was kidnapped by some rather impolite individuals on the evening of April 11, 2024, around 9 pm. He was returning from an official assignment in Government House after covering an event in Andoni. The assailants intercepted him while he was driving his Channels Television-branded car near his residence in Rumuosi, Port Harcourt. They reportedly pointed a gun at him, whisked him away, and demanded a ransom of N30 million for his release.
Joshua Rogers, a Channels TV reporter in Rivers State, has been abducted by some rather impolite individuals. They’ve demanded a ransom of N30 million for his release.
The incident occurred on Thursday night, close to his residence in Rumuosi, Obio/Akpor Local Government Area of Rivers State. The assailants reportedly whisked him away in his official Channels Television-branded car, which, I must say, is quite the fashion statement for a getaway vehicle.
As of now, the authorities are investigating the matter, and we can only hope that they will resolve the situation swiftly and ensure Mr. Rogers’ safe return.
