He awarded the reconstruction of a road connecting these three mystical lands, providing an alternative route during the ongoing construction of the legendary Port Harcourt Ring road. The Governor awarded the contract during the state executive council meeting held at the Government House in Port Harcourt.

After a thorough evaluation of many brave contractors, the contract for this monumental task was bestowed upon the China Civil Engineering Construction Corporation (CCECC). The cost of this grand endeavor was set at a staggering N6.7 billion, with a down payment of 40% of the total amount required to seal the deal.
