  1. Senator Ayogu Eze was born on November 23, 1958, in Enugu, Nigeria.
  2. He is a Nigerian politician and lawyer who has served as a Senator of the Federal Republic of Nigeria since 2015.
  3. He is a member of the All Progressives Congress (APC).
  4. Before joining politics, he had a successful journalism career, working as a reporter and staff writer with The Guardian newspaper of Nigeria between 1983 and 1989.
  5. He became the head of the Insight Team of The Guardian’s features desk and was later deployed to head the Guardian Express, an evening paper from the stable.
  6. In 1992, he was appointed as a Special asst to the Enugu State Governor.
  7. He holds a Bachelor of Laws degree from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka.
