You are Not on My Level, Wizkid Slams Davido

The full story behind the recent feud between Nigerian music superstars Wizkid and Davido has taken the social media world by storm, particularly on the X platform (formerly known as Twitter). The online altercation began when Wizkid, also known as Ayodeji Balogun, took to X to seemingly throw shade at some artists, including Davido, saying, “U know what..no point. delusional n*ggas. pray for y’all.” This sparked a heated exchange that has captivated fans and observers alike.

In response, Davido, also known as David Adeleke, fired back with a sharp comment on X, emphasizing that they are not delusional and calling Wizkid a “sick man.” This back-and-forth escalated rapidly, with both artists trading barbs late into the night and in the morning.

Wizkid didn’t stop there. He went on to describe Davido as his “boy,” even if he were to retire from the music industry, Davido would still not be on his level. This statement further fueled the fire, leading Davido to accuse Wizkid of experiencing a mental breakdown and needing medical help.

Adding fuel to the fire, Wizkid labeled Davido and his crew members “delusional niggas” and mocked Davido’s team, referring to them as “pant washer songwriters.” This was in response to a leaked video purportedly showing Davido in a vulnerable state, which Wizkid used to taunt his rival.

Notably, Davido’s signee, Peruzzi, quickly defended his record label boss by challenging Wizkid to swear that he had never sought for his service. This exchange highlighted the loyalty and solidarity within the 30BG camp amidst the heated online feud.

As the feud continues to simmer, it remains to be seen whether tensions will eventually subside or escalate further. This public spat between two of Nigeria’s biggest musical stars serves as a reminder of the complexities and competition within the dynamic Afrobeats industry, where talent and ego collide on the global stage.
