Jennifer Lopez’s $90 Million Las Vegas Residency Deal At Risk Of Falling Through

Jennifer Lopez’s highly anticipated $90 million Las Vegas residency deal is reportedly in jeopardy due to the poor sales of her new album, “This is Me …Now,” and her upcoming tour. Initially, the deal proposed by MGM offered Lopez $1 million per show, but the recent developments have led to discussions of reducing the offer to $600,000-$650,000 per show. This comes amid reports of strained relations between Lopez and her husband, actor Ben Affleck, with the couple living separately and not celebrating Mother’s Day together.

The insider source shared that Lopez might see her potential $90 million deal significantly reduced, adding that a Lopez residency might now command just $600,000 to $650,000 per show with fewer performances. The poor ticket sales have left MGM executives reportedly concerned about Lopez’s declining star power and her ability to fill the 5,200-seat Park Theater, given the significant financial commitment involved.

The situation is further complicated by the fact that Lopez is reportedly struggling to sell out the 19,500-seat T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas for her July 20 tour stop, with a third of the high-priced floor tickets and many cheaper options still available, according to Ticketmaster.

Despite the challenges, Lopez’s previous residency at Planet Hollywood, “All I Have,” was a huge success, grossing $101.9 million and making it the sixth highest-grossing Las Vegas residency of all time and the top residency by a Latin artist.

As for her personal life, the 54-year-old singer walked the red carpet to celebrate her film “Atlas,” which she stars in and co-produced, while Affleck was busy filming “The Accountant 2.” The couple has been seen less together in recent weeks, and Affleck did not attend the premiere of “Atlas,” which debuted on Netflix.
