In 2011, he joined Chelsea’s academy and progressed through the ranks, making his U18 debut in 2018. In 2019, he moved to Bayern Munich, where he made his professional debut in June 2020.

Musiala became the youngest player to play for Bayern Munich in the Bundesliga at the age of 17 years and 115 days. He also became the club’s youngest goal-scorer in the Bundesliga. In October 2021, he scored his first international goal for Germany, becoming the second-youngest German player to score for the national team.
