You are The Rivers Assembly Speaker, Court Rules

The Court of Appeal has overturned the expulsion of Speaker Martin Amaewhule and 24 other members of the Rivers State House of Assembly, who were previously dismissed by the Rivers State High Court. The appellate court ruled that the lower court lacked jurisdiction in the matter, citing Section 272(3) of the Constitution which grants the Federal High Court the authority to determine whether a seat in the House has become vacant. This decision reinstates the lawmakers, who are loyal to Minister Nyesom Wike, back to their positions in the assembly.
