NAFDAC Investigates Pastor Jeremiahs Miracle Products

The latest on the investigation by the National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control (NAFDAC) into Pastor Jeremiah’s miracle products, as of September 8, 2024, includes:

  • Investigation and Warning: NAFDAC has issued a warning to the public regarding the activities of Christ Mercy Land Deliverance Ministries, led by Prophet Jeremiah Fufeyin. The organization has been using NAFDAC’s name to deceive the public into believing that their products, including Miracle Water and Miracle Soap, are registered with the agency.
  • Products in Question: The products under scrutiny include Miracle & Healing Water, River Jordan Water, Miracle Water from The Pool of Bethsaida, among others. These products have been advertised with claims of miraculous healing powers, including curing infertility.
  • Lack of Cooperation: When NAFDAC officials visited the ministry to verify these claims, they faced denial and lack of cooperation. The ministry officials initially denied producing these miracle products, despite evidence to the contrary.
  • Sealing of Factory: NAFDAC discovered that the ministry had entered into a production contract with Globod Table Water factory without informing the agency. Consequently, NAFDAC sealed this factory to prevent further production and sale of these unregistered products.
  • Public Advisory: NAFDAC has advised the public to stop patronizing these miracle products due to health risks associated with unregistered and unwholesome products. The agency emphasizes its commitment to ensuring that all products meet strict safety and quality standards.

This situation reflects NAFDAC’s ongoing efforts to regulate and ensure the safety of products sold in Nigeria, particularly those making health-related claims without proper registration or scientific validation.
