FCT Minister Wike Flags Off Construction of 40 Judges’ Quarters
The Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, has performed the groundbreaking ceremony for the construction and design of 40 judges’ quarters in the Katampe District of Abuja.

The project aims to provide comfortable and secure housing for judicial officers, enhancing their welfare and independence.

Key Features of the Project
1. 40 Housing Units: To be allocated among the FCT High Court (20 units), Federal High Court (10 units), and Court of Appeal (10 units)
2. Funding: 70% of the project’s budget has been approved, with a 15-month completion timeline
3. Job Creation: Expected to generate over 1,000 direct and indirect jobs
4. State-of-the-Art Infrastructure: Modern amenities, security features, and recreational facilities
