ASTON VILLA CELEBRATES 150 YEARS OF HISTORY WITH SPECIAL ANNIVERSARY PLANS
Aston Villa Football Club is proud to announce its plans to celebrate a monumental milestone – its 150th anniversary. The club, founded in 1874, will mark this historic occasion during the FA Cup Third Round match against West Ham United on January 10, 2025.
To commemorate this special day, Villa Park will host a matchday celebration honoring 150 years of heritage. The club has planned a series of activities and promotions to make the occasion even more memorable for fans.
Special Matchday Offers
As part of the celebrations, the club has priced various matchday items at £1.50, a nod to the anniversary year. These special offers include:
- Select menu items, such as food, soft drinks, and beer
- Special anniversary items at the Club Shop
- Commemorative programme, priced at £1.50, celebrating 150 years of Aston Villa
- Shuttle buses from Birmingham city center to Villa Park operating at a fare of £1.50
Limited-Edition Commemorative Items
To further commemorate this milestone, the club is releasing several limited-edition items, including:
- “Aston Villa – The First 150 Years,” a comprehensive book written by respected club authors and historians
- A limited-edition print, personally signed by 32 former players, available for £125
