The Supreme Court building will also be closed, as ordered by the Chief Justice.

Additionally, the National Archives will mark the day with a special exhibit featuring the Camp David Accords and the Egyptian-Israeli Peace Treaty of 1979, both significant achievements during Carter’s presidency. The public is invited to sign a condolence book for the Carter family.

Flags across the country will be flown at half-staff to honor Carter’s memory. A memorial service will be held at the National Cathedral in Washington, D.C., with dignitaries and leaders from around the world in attendance.
