The Even Stevens alum shared that she was hospitalized after being shot in the face multiple times Feb. 7 during a trip to celebrate husband Brendan Rooney‘s 42nd birthday in Austin, Texas, where they live.
“I took him to shoot clay pigeons as a present,” the 40-year-old wrote on Instagram Feb. 8, alongside a video of herself with injuries to her right eye and forehead. “There was another party with us and they unsafely fired in the wrong direction and shot me in the face.”
