GOVERNOR FUBARA RECEIVES JUDICIAL COMMISSION REPORT ON OCTOBER 7 VIOLENCE, VOWS TO TAKE ACTION AGAINST CULPRITS

Former Rivers State Head of Service, Dr. George Nweke, has accused suspended Governor Siminalayi Fubara and his former Chief of Staff, Ehie Edison, of orchestrating the burning of the Rivers State House of Assembly complex. Nweke claims that Fubara directed Edison to carry out the arson attack as part of a plan to evade impeachment.

According to Nweke, he was present when Fubara bribed Edison with a large sum of money to destroy the assembly complex. Nweke also alleges that Fubara planned to destroy oil facilities in non-Ijaw speaking areas of the state to shift attention away from the Ijaw zones.

Additionally, Nweke claims that Fubara boasted about his control over the pipelines in Rivers and Bayelsa states, stating that he would use this control to his advantage at the right time.

It’s worth noting that these allegations have not been proven, and Fubara has not publicly responded to these claims. However, Nweke’s accusations have sparked a heated debate online, with some calling for further investigation into these allegations.
