Liverpool confirm Ryan Gravenberch signing
Ryan Gravenberch has become Liverpool’s fourth midfield signing of the summer after completing a €40m move from Bayern Munich.
Liverpool agreed a fee with the German champions on Thursday and the Netherlands international has signed a five-year contract at Anfield. The deal, which includes €5m in add-ons, is subject to a work permit and sees Jurgen Klopp secure a player who was a target before his move from Ajax to Bayern last summer.

Sofyan Amrabat seals Manchester United loan
Manchester United have sealed a season-long loan for Fiorentina’s Sofyan Amrabat with 30 minutes remaining before Friday’s 11pm transfer deadline. The deal for Amrabat, which will cost the club a £10m loan fee, is subject to international clearance and registration requirements.
Amrabat, who played under Ten Hag at Utrecht six years ago, said: “I know exactly how Erik likes to work and what he needs from his players. His coaching and guidance developed me so much as a player earlier in my career.
Brennan Johnson joins Spurs as window shuts
As the window swings shut, we finally have confirmation that Brennan Johnson is a Spurs player, completing his £47m move from Nottingham Forest. Johnson will wear the No 22 shirt at Tottenham.
Forest supporters will be sad to see Johnson depart, ending his 14-year association with the club, but pocketing almost £50m allows them to do other business, namely that £32m move for Ibrahim Sangaré, and, crucially, should keep them in the clear when it comes to financial fair play.

Getafe sign Mason Greenwood on season-long loan
“Mason Greenwood has signed for Getafe CF on a season-long loan, subject to international clearance,” an official Manchester United statement said.
“The move enables Greenwood to begin to rebuild his career away from Manchester United. The club will continue to offer its support to Mason and his family during this period of transition.”
Greenwood was charged by Greater Manchester Police with attempted rape, controlling and coercive behaviour and assault in October 2022 after allegations were made online.
Wolves sign Strasbourg midfielder Bellegarde
Wolves have signed Jean-Ricner Bellegarde on a five-year deal from Strasbourg for a reported £12.6m. The 25-year-old can play either as a central midfielder supporting the forwards or in one of the two wider positions.
