Paris Hilton Responds to Online Comments About Son Phoenix’s Head: ‘My Angel Is Perfectly Healthy’
The new mom is addressing questions and concerns about her son
Paris Hiltonis shutting down commenters’ negativity around her son’s appearance.
In a TikTok video posted Friday, a creator reviewed and rebuked the negative comments about Phoenix Barron, 8 months, who appeared in a photo the multi-hyphenate mom, 42, posted the same day as the toddler enjoyed his first-ever stay in New York City.
Addressing questions about her son’s head, Hilton commented on the post, writing, “🥺😢There are some sick people in this world.☹️My angel is perfectly healthy. And yes, of course he has been to a doctor, he just has a large brain.”
“My precious angel baby Phoenix’s first time in NYC. ✨👱🏼♀️👶🏼🗽✨,” she captioned shots of her and the infant, whom she shares with husbandCarter Reum, sharing glances as they sat together on a white couch last week.
Hilton and Reum, 42, quietlywelcomed their first childtogether on Jan. 16, 2023, via surrogate. The pair, who married in late 2021, kept the news of their baby boy to themselves for over a week.
Hilton later announced Phoenix’s arrival eight days after his birth on Instagram with a close-up photo of her holding his hand, writing, “You are already loved beyond words 💙.”
Hilton also told PEOPLE that she and Reum aren’t alone in raising their little guy, as they have help from the “Stars Are Blind” singer’s parents — momKathy Hiltonand dadRick Hilton.
“[My parents] are just so obsessed with him,” Hilton said. “I’m always calling my mom and my sister [Nicky Hilton] for advice, and I’m really lucky that I’m so close with my family, so I have such a big support group.”
