Supreme Court To Deliver Judgment Between APC Tonye Cole & Gov Fubara on Thursday
The Supreme Court will tomorrow Thursday the 25th January 2024 deliver judgement in the suit filed by the APC governorship candidate in Rivers State, Tonye Cole, challenging the election victory of Governor Siminalayi Fubara.
As you may know, Mr. Cole wants the court to nullify Governor Fubara’s election because he did not resign as the Accountant General of the state and acted in that capacity way past the cut-off time stipulated by the constitution and the Electoral Act.
