Bring Them On, Angola Challenges Super Eagles

The Angola national team, have challenged the Nigeria team, that they aren’t afraid of the Super Eagles team. The head coach of Angola Pedro Soares Goncaalves made the statement during the squad training session on Tuesday.

Recall that Angola beat Namibia 3-0 in the round 16 to progress to the quarterfinals. Angola will play 3 times champions Nigeria on Friday for the quarterfinals.

Angola hasn’t reached this stage of the AFCON quarterfinals before, this is their first time playing the tournament quarterfinals.

Nigerian Goalkeeper Nwabali is Back To Training

In a viral video circulating the social media, Nwabali was seen training with the Super Eagles Squad. Recall that Nwabali sustained an injury in the round of 16 against Cameroon. Nwabali was carried out in a stretcher because he couldn’t walk anymore.

Coach Peseiro said Nwabali surprising return is an additional advantage to the squad following rumors that he may not return to his position after the knee injury he sustained.
