Bring The Cup Home, IGP Kayode Egbetokun Charges Super Eagles
The Inspector General of Police, IGP Kayode Egbetokun has charged the Super Eagles of Nigeria to bring the AFCON trophy home. Mr Kayode made the statement through the Force Police Relations Officers Prince Olumuyiwa Adejobi on Sunday.
The post read “We support the Super Eagles to victory today as AFCON 2023 comes to an end.. IGP Kayode Egbetokun.
Recall that the Super Eagles beat South Africa on penalties 4-2 to advance to the AFCON finals against the host Ivory Coast.
The Super Eagles had earlier defeated Ivory Coast 1-0 on a group stage game.
How To Watch The AFCON Finals
The Governor of Rivers State, Sir Fubara has however provided 4 viewing centers in Port Harcourt to show the AFCON finals. The centers are;
- Saint Andrew’s field mile 1 Diobu,
- Yakubu Gowon stadium in Rumuomasi,
- Sharks Football Stadium,
- Cricket pitch Uniport Choba.
