Ghanaian’s Mock Nigeria, Says The Eagles Have Fallen
The rivalry between Nigeria and Ghana has continued to gain more momentum, as the Ghanaians have criticized the Super Eagles for falling to win the AFCON tournament. The Ghanaians are now cooking the Nigerians.
Ghanaian X users took to their accounts to laugh on Nigerians. Recall that Nigerians have earlier criticized the Ghanaian team for failing to advance into the semifinals of the AFCON 2023.
Host nation Ivory Coast won the 2023AFCON tournament after winning the Super Eagles 2-1. Ivory Coast came from behind to beat the Eagles. Goals from Franck Kessié and Sébastien Haller made the difference for the host nation to win the tournament.
The Super Eagles took the lead 38 minutes into the game, thanks to William Troost-Ekong who broke the deadlock.
The Ivorian bounced back, thanks to Franck Kessié who leveled the game for the host nation.
