Travis Kelce Comments on Viral Clip of Him Shoving Coach Andy Reid

And while the team won, there were a few tense moments—including when Travis Kelcewas caught on camera yelling at / shoving coach Andy Reid.

Both Andy and Travis spoke out about the shove following the game, with Andy explaining “The part I love is he loves to play the game, and he wants to help his team win. It’s not a selfish thing, that’s not what it is, and I understand that. And so as much as, you know, he bumps into me, I get after him. And we understand that. He just caught me off balance.”

In another interview, he joked “He keeps me young. Tested that hip out. He caught me off balance, normally I’d give him a little bit, but I didn’t have any feet under me.”
Travis, meanwhile, was also asked about the moment, and said “Oh you guys saw that? Man, it was…I’m going to keep that between us unless my miked-up tells the world, but I was just telling him how much I love him.”

Travis went on to call Andy “the greatest coach this game has ever seen,” adding “he’s one of the best leaders of men I’ve ever seen in my life.”
