Great news for the Everton team and supporters, because their initial ban of 10pts deduction has been reduced to 6pts following appeal verdict. This was confirmed in a statement by the Premier League.
Before now Everton has 21pts, 17th in the Premier League table. 1pt above Luton, as it stands Everton are above Nottingham Forest and Brentford. Everton will play West Ham on Saturday at the Goodison Park.
