DJ Khaled Has Security Guards Carry Him from Car to Stage for Performance to Not ‘Mess Up’ His Air Jordans

The Grammy winner shared a hilarious video of himself being held by two security guards before a performance in Miami

One thingDJ Khaledwon’t do is get his Air Jordan sneakers dirty.

In a hilarious video shared to his Instagram on Monday, the Grammy winner had two security guards carry him from one vehicle to another and then to the stage in order to keep the Nike shoes clean for a performance at the 2024 South Beach Wine and Food Festival in Miami.

“I don’t want to get my Jordans dirty. Can I get everybody to help me?” asked Khaled, 48, from a car as two security guards approached to assist him. “Thank you, brothers. I appreciate it.”

The ground appeared to be sandy in the area, so the two men carried Khaled to a small vehicle with a truck bed for him to stand on. “Can’t mess up the Js,” he said.

After that vehicle transported him to a spot near the stage, two guards lifted him up once again and carried him to the stairs for his entrance. He thanked the men before walking out and greeting his fans in the crowd.

The performance appeared to go off without a hitch, as Khaled delivered a hit-filled setlist and was joined by special guestRick Rossin front of a large crowd.

In the Instagram post’s caption, Khaled teased two upcoming Drake collaborations that’ll appear on the “All I Do Is Win” artist’s forthcoming album. “When I say 2✌🏽 you say DRAKES,” he wrote.

“new album in the works,” added Khaled, tagging his We Da Best record label.
