Military Releases Photos Of Eight Wanted Over The Murders Of Soldiers

The list where released hours before the burial of the slan soldiers in Abuja in a ceremony attended by top government officials.

Those declared wanted are

  1. Prof Ekpekpo Arthur
  2. Andaowei Dennis Bakriri
  3. Akevwru Daniel Omotegbo (Aka Amagben)
  4. Akata Malawa David
  5. Sinclear Oliki 
  6. Clement Ikolo Oghenerukeywe 
  7. Reuben Baru 
  8. Igoli Ebi 

The release of the list came hours after military authorities buried the 17 slain soldiers in a ceremony attended by President Tinubu, governors and other lawmakers. 

At the event, President Tinubu promised support for the families of the victims, announcing scholarships for children of the slain soldiers including those in the womb.

President Tinubu at the event awarded a posthumous national honor. The four gallant officers have been accorded the awards of the members of the order of Nigeria (MON).

The 13 soldiers who lost their lives have been awarded the officers of the federal republic medals.
