Fulham Confirms 11 Players Leaving The Club Including Tosin Adarabioyo

Chelsea Enzo Marescas Ready For His First Signing On Tosin Adarabioyo

Fulham FC has officially announced the departure of 11 players from the club, including defender Tosin Adarabioyo. The 26-year-old center-back is set to join Chelsea FC on a free transfer after completing his medical with the club. Adarabioyo’s exit comes as his contract with Fulham expires, making him a free agent this summer. This move marks the first signing for Chelsea under the new manager, Enzo Maresca.

Adarabioyo, who joined Fulham in 2020 from Manchester City, has made 132 appearances for the Cottagers across all competitions. He was a part of the squad that won the Championship title in the 2021-22 season. The Nigerian defender was linked with several clubs, including Manchester United and Newcastle United, as his contract neared its end.

Fulham boss Marco Silva had expressed hope that Adarabioyo might pen a new deal with the club last month. However, reports suggest that the defender is now set to sign for West London rivals Chelsea. The club confirmed on Wednesday that Adarabioyo is among the 11 summer exits, along with goalkeeper Marek Rodak, who has been with the club for 11 years.

In addition to Adarabioyo, Fulham is in discussions with forward Bobby De Cordova-Reid, who is also due to become a free agent, to offer him a new deal. The club remains in contract talks with Willian, as they try to convince the Brazilian to stay on next season. Willian ignored transfer interest from Saudi Arabia last summer to sign a one-year extension at Craven Cottage, and the club hopes he will do so again.

This summer’s transfer window is shaping up to be an important one for Fulham, as they look to replace key players and strengthen their squad for the upcoming season.
