Apple’s IPhone & Siri Gets ChatGPT Boost

In a significant development, Apple has announced that it will integrate OpenAI’s ChatGPT into its products, including Siri, starting with the release of iOS 18, iPadOS 18, and macOS Sequoia later this year. The integration of ChatGPT, powered by OpenAI’s GPT-4o model, will allow users to access advanced AI features directly through Siri and other first-party apps. For example, users can ask Siri for recipe ideas based on ingredients from their garden, and Siri will automatically feed that information to ChatGPT for a response.
