AC Milan Signs Spanish Striker Alvaro Morata
AC Milan has officially announced the signing of Spanish striker Alvaro Morata from Atletico Madrid. The 31-year-old striker, who recently captained Spain to victory in the Euro 2024 title, has signed a four-year contract with the Rossoneri, with an option to extend for an additional year.
Morata has had an impressive career, playing for top clubs such as Real Madrid, Juventus, Chelsea, and Atletico Madrid. He has scored a total of 172 goals in 506 appearances, making him a valuable addition to AC Milan’s attacking line-up.
The Spanish striker has also had a successful international career, scoring 36 goals in 80 appearances for Spain. He has won the recent European Championship and the 2022/23 UEFA Nations League.
Morata’s signing is a significant boost for AC Milan, who finished second in Serie A last season. The Rossoneri fans are eager to see the impact Morata will have on the team as they prepare for the new season.
“I’m in the perfect place, at the perfect age,” Morata said in his first press conference as an AC Milan player. “I want to bring the second star and help the club continue to improve.”
With Morata’s experience and goal-scoring prowess, AC Milan is looking to challenge for the top spot in Italian football once again.
