Port Harcourt, Rivers State – In a groundbreaking move, the Rivers State Government has approved a new minimum wage of ₦85,000 for workers in the state.

Rivers State Governor, Ezenwo Nyesom Wike, made the announcement during a meeting with labor leaders and stakeholders. The governor reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to improving workers’ welfare and living standards.

“This new minimum wage demonstrates our dedication to ensuring that workers in Rivers State receive a fair and decent income,” Governor Wike stated.
