President Mohammadu Buhari Eagerly Anticipates Return to Daura

I am eager to return home. That was President Mohammadu Buhari’s message to Nigerians after he returned from London on Saturday. The president went through a full medical check-up a and was discharged on Friday evening.

President Mohammadu Buhari has disclosed that he is eager to return home to Daura, his hometown in Katsina State. He said this while addressing a crowd of well-wishers on Saturday after a thanksgiving service.

He also praised Nigerians for their continued prayers for his recovery and for the success of his administration

“I am eager to return home,” he said, adding that there was nothing like being back home with people you know who love you dearly.”

“I am very glad that I am back. And I wish I can stay longer,” the president said amidst cheers from the crowd. “What I saw in London, I am very happy with it.”

Buhari also praised Nigerians for their continued prayers for his recovery and for the success of his administration. “For that we are grateful and may God continue to bless Nigeria,” he added.

“I am happy with my health and I want to spend more time with my family.”
