The Rivers State Police Command on Friday said it killed three suspected kidnappers at a forest in Isiodu community in the Emohua Local Government Area of the state.
The Commissioner of Police, Nwonyi Polyvap, who disclosed this during a media briefing in Port Harcourt, vowed to make the state crime-free, pointing out that the command under his watch would leave no stone unturned in achieving its mandate.
He said eight magazines, 70 rounds of live ammunition and 10 cartridges were recovered from the miscreants.

Meanwhile, the commissioner said harsh punishment awaited any member of the Police Community Relations Committee caught fraternising with criminal elements.
He said such an act was tantamount to undermining the security of the state and encouraged crime to fester.
Emeka handed down the warning while speaking at a reception organised by members of the PCRC to honour him in Port Harcourt.
