Rivers state governor Nyesom Wike has promised to complete all his projects before he leaves office. The governor made the promise during The Fourth Quarter 2022 Project Commissioning. Among the dignitaries was Former Governor of Edo State, H.E Comrade Adams Oshiomhole. Governor said that he would not leave office with any unfinished projects, adding that he would ensure that all ongoing projects are completed before the end of his tenure.

The governor also said that he would not allow any more abandoned projects in the state.
